How do I search for products?

There are several ways of finding products on stanleygibbons.com. You can browse our online shop, using the tick boxes on the left of the page to refine your results or search directly from anywhere on the site by typing your search query in the box towards the top left of the website.

Browse 

You can browse through our entire online shop by selecting one of our main product categories.  Each time you select a category from these main menus, you will be shown a list of relevant sub-categories and criteria that you can select for further browsing.

For example, the online shop page will display a list of all main product categories, such as Albums, Catalogues and Accessories, etc. When selecting Albums, for example, you will be directed to the Albums menu and a list of filters to choose from. You can then select any of these filters and browse until you find the product(s) you are looking for. 

Search

You can also search for products by name or product number. Just enter the name of product (e.g. Malvern, Senator Standard) or the product number (e.g. R3588, R0387, etc) into the search box and all of the products that match your chosen word or number will be displayed. Entering a valid product number into this search field will take you straight to that product.

Are all of the items shown on your website in stock? 

We do our best to ensure that all of the items displayed on our website are in stock but occasionally products do go out of stock as we sell through a number of different channels including our website, mail order, over the telephone, through eBay and our shop in London. We have excellent relationships with all of our suppliers though so we can order products in quickly and efficiently. 

I can’t find what I’m looking for on your website

Our website has been designed so that customers can quickly find what they’re looking for by typing search terms in to the Search box or by browsing through the product categories listed on the left hand side of the website. Sub-categories are displayed when a category is clicked on allowing customers to refine their search. If you still can’t find what you’re looking for please email sales@stanleygibbons.co.uk with details of what you are looking for and we will do our best to help.

How do I order and pay online?  

Once you have found the products you were looking for, you can buy them online. To do so, just click the ‘Add to Basket’ link for each product selected. These will appear listed under ‘Your Basket’ at the top right of the page. When finished shopping you will need to click ‘View basket and checkout’. All the items you have added to your shopping basket will be listed. From here you can amend your order if you so wish or apply a gift voucher before continuing through to the next step in the checkout process. 

If you are ordering multiple items and the order includes an “Order on Demand” or a yet to be released product (e.g. a catalogue pre-order), the whole order will be held and will not be despatched until all the items are available.

The checkout process takes place on one page and involves completing the following details:

- Billing address
- Delivery address and delivery options
- Payment

You can pay using any major credit or debit cards or PayPal. Your details will be encrypted to keep them 100% secure. 

Please note:

We cannot deliver to PO Boxes.

After completing your payment details, select 'continue' to place your order. You will receive an email confirming that we have received your order with an order number and details, which you should make a note of for future reference. 

How can I pay for my order? 

If you wish to place an order online our secure website accepts all major credit and debit cards as well as PayPal. Once your payment has been completed you will receive an email confirming your order.

You can also pay by credit or debit card over the telephone. We have a team of customer service representatives who are available from 8.30am until 5pm, Monday to Friday (excluding holidays).

Your peace of mind is our priority. Stanley Gibbons uses industry standard secure sockets layer (SSL) encryption technology on our site. This encryption process converts your credit card details into code before securely transferring them. 

Can I place my order over the telephone?

Yes, we have a team of customer service representatives who are available from 8.30am until 5pm, Monday to Friday (excluding holidays). They are on hand to take your order and to help with any questions you may have.

How do I register?

Registering with us will make your online visits to Stanley Gibbons much quicker and easier. To begin the registration process, click the Register button at the top of your screen. You will need to provide us with your email address and a password. We will then ask you to complete some personal details.

How do I login?

Once you have registered with us, you will be able to log in to stanleygibbons.com at any time. Just click the login link at the top of your screen and enter your email address and password (exactly as you gave when you first registered).

Logging in makes placing an order even faster and easier than usual, as all of your address details will already be filled in. Whilst logged in, you can change any of these details as well as any other addresses or details you may have entered previously.
